It's so... minimalist!
It really is like the string bikini of cases. It's basically a thin layer of rubbery plastic that is marginally thicker than the actual phone.
The good: it's tiny. Really tiny and thin. It has a nice raised area around the camera pod that does actually protect the camera pod. That's a nice thing. It's basically as close to having your phone without a case as you can get and still say it's in a case. It's a clean look. I can dig it.
The less than ideal: it's not grippy. It just isn't. Some kind of texturing on the edges might help, I don't know, but it's a little sketchy to hold onto. Also, there's just no world in which this case will help more than the most infinitesimal amount during a fall of any kind. It is literally an ultra-thin layer of soft plastic; I can't see where it will provide any significant protection. It will certainly protect against scratches and scuffs, and that has some value for sure. It also will not protect the front at all from scratches, scrapes, etc so you may consider a glass protector for the front if you're concerned with that.
Would I recommend this product? If you're looking for the absolute most minimal case you can possibly find, this is in my opinion, it. I've never seen a more minimalist case. It looks great and it feels paper-thin. Do I think it will actually protect my phone? Yes, from scuffs and scrapes, more or less. Definitely no from impacts or falls.
I've had worse cases and I've had 'better' cases that were more protective…
